William Michael Pruitt

William Michael Pruitt, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away April 9, 2022. He was born in Martinsville, Indiana the son of the late Marvin and Shirley (Fox) Pruitt. Mike was a Tire Technician. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Effie Pruitt, and son Marvin Pruitt. Mike is survived by his daughters, Vivian Dishman, Melissa Tames, Shirley Russell and Laura Wise; he is also survived by his sister, Pearl Decker and brother, Darrell Pruitt; grandchildren, Dustin, Duke, Alexis Canter, Joe Wise, Jr., Michael Pruitt, Savanna Pruitt, Dylan Sizemore, Dalton Pruitt, Jimmy Brummett, Benjamin Marriott, Levi Dishman, Colleen Dishman, Kelsey Adkins, Trevor Adkins, Mason Tames, Nevaeh Pruitt and Nijel Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Braylon, Rylee, Lexii, Rodney and Maddie. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
