William "Bill" C. Maynard

William "Bill" C. Maynard, age 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. Bill was born April 6, 1957 in Anderson, Indiana to Robert C. and Gladys M. (Davenport) Maynard. Bill graduated from Warren Central High School in 1975. After high school, he attended college and then he served in the U.S. Army. Bill married Claudia "Jeanie" Ashcraft on February 7, 1986. Bill worked as a warehouseman with Kroger-Zenith Logistics for more than 31 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 135. Bill was an avid bowler and coin collector. He also enjoyed playing computer games. Bill will be greatly missed. Bill is survived by his mother, Gladys Maynard; daughter, Shelley Maynard; siblings, Randy (Terri) Maynard, Joy Carf and Tammy (Robert Robinson) Maynard. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia "Jeanie" Maynard; and his father, Robert C. Maynard. A visitation for Bill will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219. A second visitation will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM also at the mortuary. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Bill will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Westfield, IN 46062.
