Obituary of Timothy Joseph Doyle
Timothy “Arch” Joseph Doyle, 62, of Zionsville, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was born July 6, 1961, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late James B. “Jimmy” Doyle and Dolores “Muffy” Dezelan Doyle. Tim attended St. Pius X and Chatard High School graduating in 1979. He then attended Indiana University where he graduated with a degree in Accounting and was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity. After college, he began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen in Indianapolis where for 20 years he worked in Audit, IT, and then Recruiting. He then moved on to Dauby, O’Connor, and Zaleski in Carmel, IN, where he worked in Audit and was the firm’s first Director of Recruiting. He was a Member (Partner) in the firm and retired in 2020. Tim was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy on his 16th birthday, and he received his first wheelchair on his 30th birthday. It was on that 30th birthday that he gave his life to Jesus Christ, and he spent the remainder of his life dedicated to following Christ and serving others. Despite the immense hardships of his illness, Tim not only lived, he thrived, putting on full display the joy of Christ in the midst of suffering. He attended East 91st Street Christian Church where he was very involved in JRM and teaching Preschool Sunday School. For the last 20+ years, he attended College Park Church where he again taught preschool children and later served as an Elder. For the last ten years, Tim served as Board President for the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF) where he was able to inspire and manage initiatives to serve families in Indiana impacted by Muscular Dystrophy. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sisters Debby Doyle McCalley, Jody Doyle Dolen, and Jenny Doyle Walker, and brother Mack Doyle. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca “Becky” (Senter) Doyle, brother Danny (Janet) Doyle, sister Jamie (Ahmed) Ismail, brother-in-law George Dolen, and nieces Erin McCalley Homan, Katie McCalley, Ellie Walker, and Hannah Ismail. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024, at College Park Church, 2606 W 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11 AM, also at College Park Church. There will be a post-funeral meal celebration for family and friends to attend from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Marriott North, 3645 River Crossing Pkwy, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
