Rosemary Wiseman Weiler, age 66, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2020. Rosemary was born October 20, 1953 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Evelyn June (Harlow) Wiseman and Howard Lavon Wiseman. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Wiseman and sister, Jean Wiseman. Rosemary worked for the federal government for over 40 years, much of which were spent as a patient services assistant with the VA medical center. She was proud to serve our country in her work and was patriotic in the rest of her life as well. She enjoyed traveling, especially to places like Washington DC and Mt. Rushmore and her favorite musician was John Phillips Sousa. She even collected eagles and other patriotic items. She frequently dined out and made friends with the staffs where she was a regular. They were always glad to see her and would have her drink at her spot before she got through the door. She was also crafty and enjoyed going to the movies.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter Christine Vawter; brothers, Duane Wiseman (Vicki), Mike Wiseman (Nina), and Walter Wiseman (Julie); sisters, Judy Baillie, Brenda Wiseman, and Cathy Cherry (Billy); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Little & Sons Funeral Home - Indianapolis. Her memorial service and celebration of her life will be Saturday, August 15 at 11 am with a reception following until 2 pm.
