Robert Lee Powell, 77, of Indianapolis passed away October 5, 2019. He was born in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late L.T. and Martine (Hayden) Powell. He was a US Army Veteran and with the United States Postal Service for 38 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Lane Thomas Powell.
Robert is survived by his wife Lisa; children, Robert A. Powell and Bridget Caine; his sister, Phyllis Furhman; 5 grandchildren, Gaven and Landon Powell, Sarah Caine, Johnathan Keyes and Alyissa Floyd; great-grandchild, Athena Jackson.
A Celebration of Roberts life will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2019, with military rites conducted by the United States Army at 4:00 p.m.
