Richard Michael Knapek, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. Richard was born in Peoria, Illinois to the late John and Margaret Knapek. Richard is survived by his son Michael (Dawn) Knapek and his daughter Jennifer Garrett; siblings: sister Diane (Dave) Miller, brother John E. (Becky) Knapek, sister Margie Binzer, brother Will E. (Jackie) Knapek; grandchildren: Kaitlin Knapek, Audrey Garrett, Abigail Garrett and Benjamin Garrett. A celebration of life for Richard will be scheduled at a later date.
