Raymond Patterson

Raymond Patterson was born November 8, 1932, to parents Isiah and Cassie Patterson in Pulaski, TN. He departed this earthly life August 20, 2020. Raymond was one of thirteen children by his parents; three of whom didn’t survive childbirth. He was educated in the Giles County School system, afterwards leaving Pulaski and moving to Indianapolis, IN. Raymond was employed at the Indiana Department of Transportation for over 40 years. After which, he owned and operated a waste removal business for many years until his retirement. Always known to be full of life and with a quick wit, Raymond enjoyed being around people and having a good time; he never met a stranger. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Isiah and Cassie Patterson; sisters Annie Terrell, Agatha Neal, Dorothy Carroll, Willie Mae Houston and Clara Perry Braden; brothers Thurman Patterson, Nathan Patterson, and J.C. Patterson. Raymond is survived by his sister Gladys Jones of Chattanooga, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held in Pulaski, TN.
