IN THE CARE OF
Leppert Mortuaries - Nora
Pamela Marie Guyton,
Age 75, of Carmel passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Pam was born February 28, 1948 in Fort Wayne and was the daughter of Arnold George and Mary Edith (Yentes) Engle.
Pam was a 1966 graduate of Linton–Stockton High School and attended Indiana State University before transferring to the Indiana University School of Dentistry where she completed her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. Pam was an avid Hoosier basketball fan and loved watching games with her closest friends.
Pam was a sweet and gentle soul who loved expressing her artistic side. She was an accomplished artist and painter. She was never intimidated to take on any type of project and spent her free time gardening, rehabbing furniture, building bird houses, quilting, or experimenting with watercolors. She rarely passed on an opportunity to play Bridge or Euchre and enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. She loved being waterside whether at Crooked Lake or on a beach in Florida.
Pam fiercely loved her daughter and grandchildren and is survived by her daughter, Johanna (Bob) Gallagher; her grandchildren, Phoebe M. and Griffin W. Gallagher; and sisters, Karen (Ralph) Wallem, Debra Poole, Janice Engle, and her beloved dachshund, “Bunny”. Her family is comforted knowing she is dancing in Heaven with Jesus.
Visitation for Pam will begin at 1:00pm on Friday, June 2nd at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis and conclude at time of memorial service at 2:00 pm in the church’s chapel.
Memorial contributions in Pam’s name are suggested to Indy Humane Society.
