76, of Indianapolis departed this life December 10, 2015 in Carmel, IN. Nick was born June 23, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Watson and Zelda Cooney. Nick worked for Kroger for 50 years as a meat cutter and then at Village Pantry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith A. Cooney. Nick is survived by his sons, Steve (Lara) Cooney and Kent (Dianna) Davis; brother, David (Betty) Cooney and eight grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Jean Cooney. Visitation will be from 6 until 8pm on Thursday at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Interment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens on Friday, December 18th at noon.
