Nancy R. Mansfield birthplace was Indianapolis, IN. Nancy attended IPS schools and Harry E. Wood and her early years of life, she worked for IPS schools, Kroger Bakery and Partners in Housing Development as a Front Desk Receptionist. Nancy R. Mansfield accepted Christ at a young age at First Baptist Church and later joined Westside Baptist Church. Nancy R. Mansfield hobbies were cooking meals for her family, working crossword/word search puzzles, reading, listening to music (blues/R&B) and having fun with family and friends. Nancy had a very creative mind and enjoyed interior design, organization and keeping things very nice and clean. Nancy R. Mansfield was a realist who was very intelligent, a leader and trailblazer. Nancy spoke her mind, and she never waited on anyone to make change, if she saw something or anyone who needed help or guidance, she would take the initiative to help or provide resolution. Nancy R. Mansfield departed this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 12:28am in her home at age 74 years with all 4 of her children by her side. Nancy was preceded in death by her Mother Phyllis Lee Phillips, her Father William Houston Mansfield, brothers; William (Barney) Mansfield, Robert Mansfield Michael Davis and Steven McNeal, sisters; Brenda Hoskins, June Mansfield, Marsha Mansfield and grandson Jamar Mans-field. Nancy leaves to cherish her loving memories with her children three sons: Robert E. Mansfield aka Anthony Staples (Amina), Jenkins L. Mansfield (Hope), Anthony W. Mansfield (Kelly), one daughter; LaRhonda L. Hart (Shawn), four sisters; Vivien Mansfield, Daisy Mansfield, Karen Williams, Lynn Pierce, three brothers; Rickey McNeal, Barry McNeal, Darryl McNeal a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
