Ms. Lena Ann Graves

Lena Ann Graves was born December 12, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Mamie L. Harris and Leonard Graves. Lena received her elementary school education at Indianapolis Public School # 23, Junior High school #17. Lena attended Crispus Attucks High School and Ivy Tech. Lena loved reading books, enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a loving niece, sister, aunt, cousin, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lena loved to travel, she had a passion for helping people, if she couldn’t help you, she always knew someone to call to see that your need was met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lena united with New Vision Ministry Inc. under the leadership of her beloved nephew Pastor Gearld Graves (Splo). Lena was a faithful member, serving on the praise team Outreach Ministry, Prison Ministry and she was an avid Bible Study Student. Lena loved the lord and would always have a testimony. Lena Ann Graves went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 10, 2015at the age of 58 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; Marie Jones, Rose Gaither, Frances Wooden Brothers; George Graves and Leonard Graves Jr. Nephew Pastor Gerald Graves; Niece Lydia Wooden She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Kimberly L. Watkins, son Dennis L. Graves (Terri) Sisters, Dorothy Porter, Barbara Adams, Doralena Minter, Edith Brewer (Robert), Windy Graves; Brother Jerry Graves; Grandchildren; Donquez Watkins, Lena Watkins, one great grandson Amari Watkins and a host of other relatives, friends, and her church family.
