Michael Lawrence Thibodeau

59, of Indianapolis, departed this life, Sunday, November 9, 2014. Mike was born July 10, 1955 in Findlay, OH to Leslie Neil and Ethel Laura (Dominiczak) Thibodeau. He was a 1974 graduate of North Central High School. He then studied for four years as an apprentice pipefitter with UA Local 440. Mike worked for Rand – Air Inc. for ten years then for Lucas Oil Stadium – CIB as a pipefitter for 24 years, retiring this year. He was a former member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mike was a kind, gentle and colorful soul who loved riding his Harley, NCHS reunions, discussing politics, and loving animals. He loved working at Lucas Oil Stadium, and loved his Colts. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Lam Nguyen) Thibodeau; son, Ryan (Amanda) Orban; mother, Ethel Thibodeau; brothers and sisters: Marcel (Barbara) Thibodeau, Suzie (Matt) Purol, Barb (Bob) Moore, Mark (Sue) Thibodeau and Matt (Jane) Thibodeau; granddaughter, Harper Grace Orban; seven nieces and nephews; former wife, Karen Johnson and a soon to be born granddaughter in addition to Sophie his dog and Mimi his cat. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 am on Saturday, November 15th at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Mass following at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
