Marvin Eugene Grimes,
76, of Speedway, Indiana passed away on Sunday February 16, 2020. Marvin was born September 18,1943 in Martinsville, Indiana to Helen Grimes and Rollie Grimes.
Marvin was a boiler tech for Olin Brass. He was in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 64 and was a 50 year member of the Martinsville Masonic Lodge.
Marvin is survived by his daughter; Christie Grimes-Vigil (Ernie), son; Craig Grimes and daughter Candice Grimes-Wright (Tony), step-daughters; Angie Ralston and Michelle Penrod, grandchildren; Aaron Vigil, Sara Vigil, Justin Wright, Molly Wright, Mary Wright, Brittany Grimes, Terry Penrod, Megan Penrod, Hillary Valladares, Desirée Penrod and Delaney Penrod.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Karen Grimes; mother Helen Grimes and father Rollie Grimes.
A Celebration of Life for Marvin will be Sunday, March 1, from 2 -5 pm at the American Legion Post #64 at 601 S. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana
