Margaret R. Craft

Margaret Rosa Craft, age 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 4th, 2021. Margaret was born in Indianapolis to Joe Morrison and Thelma Loftiss on November 18, 1938. She attended Broad Ripple HS. After graduation she married Henry F. Price, and had 4 children, Dave, Kathy, Mike, and Elizabeth. In 1991 she married Dale Craft. She owned The Frame Shop in Indianapolis, and then worked at the Wishard Gift Shop as the assistant manager for eleven years. She was a member of the Soroptomist International Organization, and the Castleton United Methodist church, where she was in the choir, a member of United Methodist Women, bible study, and Variety Bunch. She loved being a choir member and volunteering for all events, as well as at Still Waters Adult day center. Margaret is proceeded in death by Dale E. Craft, and survived by David (Brenda) Price, Kathleen (James) Byerly, Michael (Donna) Price, and Elizabeth Paul, and Step-Children Michael Craft, Brenda Price, and Keith Craft. Margaret also has 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was a dear friend to many, and was known for being spunky and sweet. Visitation will be Sunday July 11th from 2-5pm in the Memorial Chapel at Crown Hill Mortuary. Officiating at a private ceremony and burial will be held with Rev. Jen Gibbs of Castleton United Methodist Church. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Margaret's family would like to extend their gratitude for the care she received at Community North, and for all of the support and kindness from her friends.
