After 93 years he finally let the old man in. Surrounded by his family he peacefully went to his heavenly home.
Lyle grew up in Greensburg, Indiana and after high school traveled with his uncle Kitchel to Anchorage, Alaska to work on the pipeline. Upon returning he resided in Indianapolis where he met his first wife and started their family. After obtaining employment with the railroad, he served 42 years and retired as a yardmaster for Conrail on May 29, 1990.
