Lillie Mae Horton, 81, passed away on August 22, 2022 at home in Indianapolis, IN.
Lillie Mae, affectionately known as “Lullie” to her children was born to Amos Horton and Lois Sears-Horton on December 29, 1940. She served her family for the majority of her life.
Lillie was proceeded in death by her Father, Amos Horton & Mother, Lois Sears; Daughter, Barbara (Alphonso) Wells; Sister, Dorothy Turner and Brother, Thomas Horton.
Lillie is survived by Daughter: Doris Williams and Allen (Son-in-Law), Brother: James Flippins and Shari (Sister-in-Law); Grandchildren: LaTanya Horton, LaKenya Gore & Alisha Wells; Great-Grandchildren: Jarrod Horton, Jordan Horton, Taneya Horton & Taleya Horton; Domeisha Gore & Dominic Gore. She has several great, great-grandchildren, uncles (Charles & LC Sears) and an aunts (Geneva Martin & Mae Sears) and hosts of cousins, associates and friends left to survive her.
No funeral services are being held at this time. Intimate Memorial to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY at the site of Lillie’s mother, Lois Sears.
The family would like to extend our appreciation to Crown Hill Funeral Home for all their assistance in making this a smooth transition.
