Kevin Lee Strunk

Kevin Lee Strunk, age 64, was born at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana on January 27, 1959, to his father James Everett and mother Gladys Rosellen Owings-Strunk. Kevin resided in his family home in Oaklandon, Indiana with his oldest daughter Kayla Strunk-Giere, son-in-law Jacob Giere, and with his two grandsons Memphis Jay Lee Slater 14 and Maverick Waylen Giere 7. Kevin passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 12:02pm with his daughters at his side. Kevin, after high school obtained his pilot's license and joined the United States Air Force. He served his country until December 30th, 1982. Kevin worked as a maintenance director for several companies throughout his career. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and kind acts of generosity. Kevin is survived by his brother, James Strunk, his children, Kayla Strunk-Giere and Kasandra Strunk; grandchildren, Memphis Jay Lee Slater and Maverick Waylen Giere. Kevin was preceded in death by his sister and his parents. Military honors will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Old Oaklandon Cemetery.
