Kathleen Doherty

Kathleen Doherty, 87, of Indianapolis, departed this life February 19, 2013. She was born November 1, 1925 in Indianapolis to Wayne and Olive (Sweet) Clark. Kathleen worked as a supervisor at Fort Benjamin Harris Finance Center for over 40 years. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She loved the fine arts and often attended and supported the Indiana Repertory Theatre, The Indianapolis Symphony and local art festivals. She enjoyed her needlepoint and all things Dean Martin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Lindley; great –niece Julia and great –nephew, Zachary. Kathleen is survived by her beloved son, Edward Doherty and dear nieces, Paula Robson and Nancy Cruse; two great-nieces and five great-nephews. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, Feb. 22nd at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment follows at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
