Jonathan Barrett Queisser

Jonathan Barrett Queisser, age 43, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed Monday, November 11, 2024. Jon was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 12, 1981 to Thomas "TQ" Queisser and Ima Jean Liford. Jon grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School. Jon graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in 1999. During high school, he demonstrated his strong athletic abilities on the football and baseball field. After high school Jon attended IUPUI but found his calling to start his own masonry business after learning the trade from his brother-in-law, Mark Reeder. Jon became very skilled in the masonry/concrete trade for over 20 years. Jon loved fishing, hunting, golfing and being outdoors. He never backed away from a challenge and always protected his family and friends. His presence brought joy and laughter to anyone around, and his smile is unforgettable. Jon is survived by his children, Ella Winter, Elijah Winter and Emmery Winter; mother of his children, Eileen Winter; father, Thomas "TQ" Queisser; siblings, Lisa Chilton, Ragina Reeder, David Liford, David Queisser and Steve Queisser; and nieces and nephews, Mark Reeder, Dillon (Mariah) Reeder, Meggan Kelly, Yaz Parman, Gavin Liford and Mitchell Boyle. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Ima Jean Liford; brother-in-law, Mark "Big Mark" Reeder; and brother, Michael Queisser. A visitation for Jonathan will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes, 5333 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
