Jon Bruce Anderson,
74, of Lebanon, Indiana, departed this life at his home on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Jon was born January 31, 1949 in Indianapolis to the late George Robert & Marjory “Peggy” (Potter) Anderson. Jon grew up and attended schools in Indianapolis and then earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and then earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
Jon worked most of his life as senior consultant in human resources for a handful of international corporations, including, BMI, R.R. Donnelley, Littlefuse and East West Associates. He enjoyed living in Shanghai, China for over 25 years. He was a ‘fixer’ for these organizations and left a lasting legacy of his dedication and loyalty.
As a proud Purdue alum, he was a member of the John Purdue Club and also played trombone with the Purdue Alumni Band.
Jon is survived by his wife, Srirat “Mam” Anderson; sons, Jon Anderson, Jeremy (Susan) Anderson, Justin (Gretchen) Anderson, Jason (Stephanie) Anderson & Jeffrey (Bailey Topper) Anderson; siblings,
Margaret (Dennis) Barlow, Eric (Margaret) Anderson & Kathy Wilson; several grandchildren and nieces & nephews. Jon was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dennis Barlow.
Prayer services for Jon will begin at 10:00am on Sunday, April 30th at Wat Indiana Buddha Vanaram, 8100 Sargent Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Final prayers will begin at 2:30 pm at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel followed by cremation.
