I remember Jack well from grade school and Sr CYO.  I went to St Mary's prom with him a few years ago.

I have fond childhood memories living next door to the Wilson family on N. New Jersey St. and at Cathedral Grade School. My sincere condolences to all the family and  friends.

 My Dad was one of a kind.
 Rare and shining, a true fighter to the end.
 He was a remarkable trailblazer.
 For those of us who are blessed to be parents, we should strive to follow his lead.
 He was strong and protective. He had a disciplined yet loving hand. 
 He was devoted and  he taught us to believe.
 His wit and humor were passed down to all of us. He was so much fun!
  Of all his many names and roles in life, DAD, GRANDPA AND GREAT GRANDPA were always the most important to him. He taught us well. He was always there for us, and we always knew it.
 Thank you Dad! Job well done. You hit it out of the park every time. 
 You have inspired us all. I am honored, proud and happy to be your daughter.

I only met Mr. Wilson a couple of times. He was so welcoming and as we talked, he was genuinely intersted in what I had to say.
I have been a friend of Paul's for years. This was the first time I had the opportunity to meet the Wilson Clan, mom included and I am so very sorry for your loss. It is obvious the kind of person you dad was just by meeting all of you. The pride of his life.

Jack aka Smackwater has a large extended family here in the Florida Keys that loved him dearly and cherish all our moments we were lucky enough to have spent with him.  Cuz & I are blessed to have spent time with Jack in the Keys and Indianapolis.  He and Julie always had an open door for me to stay in their Indianapolis home after my father passed (a childhood friend of Jack's too).  Jack was a class act and will be missed by all.  I am certain his spirit is watching over Julie and the entire Wilson family in their time of sadness.
