John Emmanuel Siegrist, Jr., age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. John was born August 21, 1935 in Altoona, PA to the late Anna (Danbeck) Siegrist and John Siegrist Sr. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Hatch) Siegrist. John was a member of the United States Marine Corps and served in Korea. His favorite saying was, "once a Marine, always a Marine." John retired from General Motors and played for many years in a country music band. He loved music and was a lifetime - diehard Steelers fan.
He is survived by his sons, Mike Siegrist (Leanne), Joe Siegrist, and Paul Siegrist; daughters, Pam Siegrist and Beverly Routte (Matt); brother, Chuck Siegrist (Eleanor); 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
