John was born in India to Samuel and Gulzar Sangar on July 31st, 1947. John was a college graduate and graduated Lincoln Tech with his diploma in Automotive Technology February 2007.
He was an Owner/Operator and drove a taxi in the city of Indianapolis for over 30 years.
John served in the Army as a paratrooper during the Vietnam war where he earned several medals and Certificates of Bravery.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Gulzar Sangar and his brother, Earnest Sangar.
John is survived by his Life Partner Earlie Sinders, his children, Julie Sangar, Emanuel Sangar and wife Kim, Isaac Sangar and his wife Chelsea, Brother Cecil and wife Gladys Sangar, sisters, Ruth Samuel, Ester and Sampath Kumar and Aksa Shami. Grandchildren, Nicholas, Sarah, Christopher and Cara
Celebration of Life Services are being held Saturday March 25th at 12:00pm at the Abundant Life International Church at 8125 Rawles Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana with Pastor Yaqub.
Thursday (3/30), there will be a service and burial with military honors at Crown Hill for anyone to attend. The time is yet to be determined but will let you know by Monday afternoon.
We ask instead of flowers that you make donations in Johns name to a Kidney foundation, St. Jude or Shriners for children.
