Jimmy Valentine was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Oscar Valentine Sr. and Lucille Valentine on December 26, 1931. He Attended Indianapolis schools.
He married Billie Valentine on September 09, 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He worked as Maintenance Supervisor for Central State Hospital for 25 Yrs with his Dad (Oscar Valentine). He also was a motorcycle funeral escort for most of the funeral homes in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
Jimmy loved cooking for people, his specialty was chess pie and chocolate chess pie.
Jimmy was a motorcycle rider to heart. He also loves to work in his yard to make it beautiful.
He was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Army. He was involved in his church Womack Memorial CME Church. Jimmy loved to go to church when he was unable to attend his Church, he would visit church with his Daughters at Eastern Star Church.
Jimmy is preceded in death by Mother: Lucille Valentine, Father: Oscar Valentine Sr., Brothers: Robert Lee Valentine, Oscar Valentine Jr and Rudolph Valentine.
Jimmy is survived by Wife: Billie Valentine, Brother: Charles Valentine, Sisters: Georgella Watson, Joan Valentine, Children: James Valentine (Rose Valentine), Diane Valentine Golder (William Golder), Ronda Valentine Thompson (Orville Thompson), Tina Valentine George (Walter George), Jeffery Valentine (Laura Valentine), Jason Valentine (Jennifer Valentine), Jerome Valentine (Nicole Valentine), Rhonda Wiley, Valinda Patten, Greg Arnett, Steve Dickerson, Deryck Dickerson.
30 Grandchildren, 30 Great grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Crown Hill Funeral Home 700 West 38th Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Burial Will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Crown hill Funeral Home.
