Helen Theresa Lamb

Helen Theresa Lamb, age 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Helen was born March 1, 1934 in Indianapolis to William and Mary Flaherty Cavanaugh. She graduated from St. Mary High School and St. Vincent School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Community East Hospital. Helen loved her Irish heritage, she was a painter, enjoyed bird watching and her flowers. She was most proud of being a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Holy Spirt Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by her children Kathy (Tom) Kozenski, Michael Lamb, Diane Lamb, grandsons Mitchell and Phillip Kozenski and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years Harry Lamb, sister Margaret Nash, brothers Robert, Martin, Thomas and William Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (7243 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46219) on Friday May 14, 2021, at 10:30 am - 12 pm, with a rosary at 11:30 am. Funeral Mass will be immediately following at 12 pm. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
