Gavin Bradley McClain, age 20, of Plainfield, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Gavin was born July 16, 2001 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He loved his job as a tower climber and sharing tower beacons with his family. He was a master barterer, always buying and trading for things and coming out ahead. Gavin enjoyed music, cars, hotrods, and tractors and was great with kids and animals. He spread his love generously as he most enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Elizabeth McClain and Zach Boyer and Brad McClain and Sara Young; sisters, Sara Melton, Emma Oeding, and Lily McClain; step-brother, Roger Young; grandfather, Dennis McClain; grandmother, Edna Reeves; aunt and uncle, Christina and Mark Percy; aunts, Toni Nicastro and Heather Melton; cousins, Kaylee Gant, Madison Percy, Giovanna Nicastro, Anthony Nicastro, Jared Smith, and Michaela Smith; and beloved dog, Roxie.
Gavin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lisa Melton.
Memorial Visitation for Gavin will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
