Erin Kathleen O'Brien

Erin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 3rd, 1965 to Robert J. O'Brien and Kathleen A. (Warren) O'Brien.

Erin graduated from The Indiana School for the Deaf in 1984. She held various jobs over the years, most recently in customer service for Goodwill Industries.

Erin was a beautiful, loving and inquisitive soul. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was a loving single mother who raised two wonderful children. She enjoyed spending her time with her large family and often spent time with her friends at the Deaf Club.

Erin was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Marie Golden (Josh) and son Mark Daws, granddaughters Ryit and Cheyanne. Brothers Mike (Shannon), Bobby, Dan (Lora) and sister Sheila (Giorgio) Groves, step mother Bonita O'Brien, step sister Cheri Caldwell and step brother Brett Caldwell.

She was an aunt to 9 nieces and nephews and a great aunt to 8 nieces and nephews.

Visitation and service will be held Friday, November 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana 46219, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
