Elizabeth was born in Statesville, North Carolina to Malcolm Cameron, Jr. and Barbara Morgan on December 16, 1957. She graduated with a bachelor’s in fine arts from Indiana State University. She worked as a stay-at-home mom and ceramic artist for most of her career. She was involved in athletic booster clubs, played singles/doubles tennis, participated as a Sparkette at Indiana State University, volunteer/contributing artist at the Artists' Cooperative Gallery of Westerly, was proud of her North Carolina roots, loved cross country road trips, cruises, Carolina BBQ, her two English springer spaniels and above all she loved her family.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father Malcolm Cameron.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Sarah Rubin (Matt) and Lydia Smith, and son Joe Fine (Kate); three grandchildren Annalucia, Magnus and Renn; her brother Cam Cameron (Missy); her mother Barbara Harp (Tom).
Visitation will be June 19th, 2022, from 2:00-3:00 at the Crown Hill Funeral Home at 700 W 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. A celebration of life service will immediately follow her gathering beginning at 3:00 PM
A small graveside service, for family only, and burial will follow on June 25, 2022, at Oakwood Cemetery at 11:00 AM in Statesville, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be given to the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly in Westerly, Rhode Island.
