Ed Billman

Edward Eugene "Ed" Billman, age 87, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born, October 24, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late James Webb and Regena Billman. Ed is also preceded in death by his daughter, Kerri Billman. Ed retired from Citizens Energy after a 33 year career and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping and was proud of his yard. He also did lots of woodworking. Ed enjoyed spending time with his children and coaching their teams. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan. Ed was also a Civil War and history buff and loved to travel.

Ed is survived by his wife of 62 years, K. Martine "Marty" (Vittetau) Billman; children, John Billman (Susan), Jim Billman (Susie), and Kathy Bouchez (Joe); grandchildren, Drew Billman (Kelsey), Kirsten Pecoraro (Anthony), Courtney Bouchez (Matt), Ben Bouchez (Allie), Huston Billman, Johnna Billman, and Jeremy Billman; and great grandchildren, Finnley and Levi.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Lawrence Catholic Church, 4650 N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM.

Ed will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis, Indiana with military honors.
