87, of Brownsburg, departed this life Monday, November 16, 2015. She was born March 1, 1928 in Owatonna, MN to the late Edward and Mary (Jirele) Dushek. Dorothy was a long time and dedicated member of St. Christopher Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She and her husband Erv enjoyed splitting their time during retirement between Indianapolis and Florida. They made many wonderful friends and enjoyed playing board and card games with family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Sheila (Mike) Johnson, Julie (Doug) Keller, Kathy (Kevin) Goddard and Michael (Carrie) Harris; sister, Delores Pavek; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years, Ervin D. Harris and son David. Visitation for Dorothy will be Saturday, November 21st from 9:00 – 11:00 am with a Memorial Mass following at 11:00 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, Speedway, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Christopher Catholic Church or to WFYI PBS Channel 20.
