Donald A Schabel

Donald A Schabel, age 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday July 24, 2019. Donald was born July 22, 1927 in Hammond Indiana. Don was a U.S Navy veteran and was an attorney for several years. Mr. Schabel argued successfully in front of U.S. Supreme Court the case Roudbush vs. Hartke which set the precedent for election recounts in the United States. Grandsons Benjamin and Nathaniel. Mr. Schabel was a devoted husband and caregiver to his late wife Amelia Schabel. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Puntillo and brother Bill Schabel. Visitation and services will be held on Tuesday July 30th 2019 with visitation from 10 am - 11am and funeral services at 11 am.
