Dawn Renee Vinson

Dawn is survived by her husband of over 34 years, David Vinson; daughters, Brittney Thomas (James Cross) and Ashley Norris (Daniel); parents, Lavone and Ronnie Harper; grandchildren, Grant McCormick Jr. and Noah and Willa Norris; sista, Caroline "Carol" Fishburn (Tommy); brother, Spencer Harper (Carrie); and special nieces and nephews, Meleah, Tommy "T", Spenser, and Tyler "Josie" as well as many more nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Dawn and David shared in their love of music. Her favorites included, Korn, David Bowie, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Lil Peep and many more. Her eclectic music taste included many more groups and artists. David accepted that she also had additional significant others, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp. She enjoyed "hippie" style and was anything but basic. Dawn was very spiritual and artistic. She was forgiving, understanding, loving, kind, and giving. Dawn also frequently used colorful language to make others smile and to give her mother a shock but was mindful to be more respectful with her father. As much as Dawn loved David, Brad, Johnny and her family, she most adored her grandchildren who love their Grammy.
