David Dobbs Birge Hobson

David Birge “Dobbs” Hobson, 17, of Indianapolis, departed this life Wednesday, August 26, 2014 in Indianapolis. David was born January 4, 1997 in Indianapolis to Stuart W. and Angela Lydia (Gatchell) Hobson. David was an active and intelligent young man. He was a class officer, football, and rugby player at Cathedral High School. Dobbs was also a National Honor Society Student and Presidential Scholar Recipient and a member of Holy Spirit of Geist Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving parents and younger brothers, Alexander L., Ian K. and Evan G. Hobson; uncles, Andrew G. Gatchell and Stephen Hobson (also David’s God-father); cousins, Lauren, Emeilia, Oliver and Liam Hobson; special “uncle and aunt” Scott and Karen Hobson and a host of other dear relatives, teammates and friends. Visitation for David will be from 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 30th in Holy Spirit of Geist Catholic Church.
