Danny L. Graham Sr.

Danny Leroy Graham Sr. (affectionally known as Gator, Bologna Man, Meat, Graham, and Mayor of Naptown) was born on June 19, 1955, Indianapolis, IN to Alonzo Graham Sr. and Rosie Howard-Graham, both of whom preceded him in death. He received his primary education in the public schools where he attended Arsenal Technical High School. Danny accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Joy L. Thornton. Danny started his early work career as a welder at Link-Belt. Over the next 40 years, Danny worked as a proud business owner, operator, and mechanic of Graham’s Auto Body & Repair, a trade in which Danny had been groomed by his late father Alonzo Graham Sr. (Mr.G). Danny was a workaholic pouring countless hours into his business. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending gun, knife, and car shows where he expanded his collections of guns and cars. Most of all, he loved hosting family gatherings and holiday dinners. He was also part of the “The Gentlemen's Inc.” a club in which they hosted various social events. While attending social events, Danny showcased his wide array of hats and stylish dress. Mr. Graham was truly a loving partner, father, grandfather, caring brother, uncle, cousin, and reliable friend. He was truly a well-known pillar in the community, often going above and beyond to help out others. He was known to employ many regardless of their skill level, which was a reflection of his big heart. Danny departed this earthly life on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 66 years, 9 months, 16 days. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his brothers Ronald, Darrell, and Alonzo Graham Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories, Tanua Wills with whom he shared over 25 years of love and devotion until his passing. His children; Danny Graham Jr. (Erika), Tamika Davis (Felix), Marquis Evans, Danielle Graham, Quiana Williams (Michael), Ronald Graham; 15 grandchildren; siblings; Phyllis Graham (William),Wilbur Graham, Joyce Graham (Richard), Kim Dunn (Xavier), Debra Hall, Peggy Graham, Michael Graham (Addie), and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends all of who loved him dearly.
