86, of Key Colony Beach, Florida and formerly of Indianapolis, departed this life on September 22, 2024. She was born July 26, 1938 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Charles W. and Mary Lenore (McKinney) Cors. She grew up and attended schools in the Little Flower neighborhood on the eastside of Indianapolis.
She was a woman devoted to her faith and family and was a former member of St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Church and more recently a member of San Pablo Catholic Church in Marathon, Florida.
Charlotte loved the natural beauty and wonders of the gulf coast and was a member of the Dolphin Research Center. She was a familiar face there and could quickly and easily identify her dolphins.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Leonard Cors.
She is survived by her loving children, Linda (Dean) Amstutz, Teresa Kruszewski, Sharon (Ed) Torongeau, Jake Wilson, Nancy Gudgeon and Paul Wilson; grateful grandchildren, Laura Weibezahn, Becky Watson, Kelly Ingels, Bobby Kruszewski, Denise Watson, Katie Logan, Johnathan Torongeau, Brittany Schneider, Olivia Bloomfield, Audrey Wilson, Susan Keller and Sara Keller; 16 great-grandchildren and her dear partner of 25 years, Bob Soderquist.
Visitation for Charlotte will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, October 12th at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel (435 West Troy Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46225) followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00am officiated by Fr. Michael McKinney. Inurnment follows in the cemetery.
