Charles Alexander Bates III

Charles Bates, (65) of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on April 5, 2023. Known fondly as "Chuckie" by his siblings during his childhood and as "Chuck" by his friends, Charles had an appreciation for fitness and sports, a passion for music, and a true love for riding motorcycles. He was a man of focus and discipline who served his country in the Navy for four years (1976 to 1979). He then graduated from Ball State University with his Bachelor's and from Butler University with his Master's and worked as an accountant for the federal government. Charles is survived by his children, Christopher and Allison. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara, and his siblings, Nikki, Nini, Bocki, Cecil, Corey, and Nichelle. Charles is predeceased by his brother, Clint. Charles was deeply loved by his friends and cherished by his co-workers. He will be truly missed.
