Carolyn T. Rodgers August 31, 1943 - January 19, 2024
Carolyn was born in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Leona Meurer on August 31,1943. She attended school in Louisville and graduated from Presentation Academy High School, Catherine Spaulding College and received her Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville. She married Ron Bruder in 1968 and was a wonderful mother to Neal and Elizabeth Bruder. She married John Rodgers on October 5,1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carolyn had a 43-long career as a social worker and helped countless people. She touched numerous lives in her many professional roles, including: Director of Social Work at the Pauline Warfield Lewis Center, head of a chemical dependency programs, private family therapist, Executive Director of Home Care Agencies, College instructor and lecturer and more.
Carolyn is survived by her children Neal and Elizabeth, her daughter in law Slawa Bruder, and her 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Patricia Meurer and Linda Sanders, and by her stepdaughter Debra. Each of them will miss her dearly.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Liguori Roman Catholic Church, 1870 W Oak St, Zionsville, IN 46077. A funeral service will follow Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A memorial reception will follow the burial on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
Carolyn will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.
