Brennon James Dowling

Brennon James Dowling, age 43, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. He was the son of Steve and Tracey Dowling, and was born on October 8th, 1980. Brennon was preceded in death by his father, Steve Dowling, and cousins Jonah James, Jeff James, and Jeromy Hawkins. Brennon is survived by his mother, Tracey Dowling; siblings, Joshua Paige, Barbie Miller; daughter, Nevaeh Gothe, and son, Jaxen Burton. He was a comedian, an artist, and a jack of all trades. Plus, he was known for writing down his thoughts in countless notebooks and journals, all of which his family will cherish for years to come. Brennon was currently working on obtaining his bachelor's degree in Human Services to help others through prevention and remediation, and had recently completed a recovery program and had received a Certificate of Appreciation for Peer to Peer Nomination, as well as a Certificate for Advanced Manufacturing. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46234 on Thursday, July 25th from 5-8pm and Friday, July 26th, 2024 from 10-11 am with a Celebration of Life at 11 am. Cremation is to follow.
