Anthony "Tony" Louis Brown

Anthony "Tony" Louis Brown, age 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Tony was born in Peoria, Illinois on July 9, 1953 to Harvey and Margaret (Abner) Brown. He graduated from Scecina High School in Indianapolis in 1971. After high school, he went to IUPUI where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Tony worked for Indiana Gas Company until 1995. He then went on to start his own company, Team Energy. Tony was the proud owner of Team Energy for 27 years.

Tony and Anita originally met in typing class at Scecina High School and later reconnected. They married on April 11, 1986. Tony and Anita had two children, Taylor and Spencer. Tony was a fan of all Indiana sports including Colts, Pacers and IU. Above all else, Tony lived for his family and was very proud of his two children. He enjoyed taking family vacations, especially to Las Vegas.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Anita Brown; his children, Taylor Brown and Spencer (Shira Shaoul-Brown) Brown; mother, Margaret Brown; brother, Al Brown; and several brother and sister in laws as well as nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in passing by his father, Harvey Brown; and niece, Michelle Pursell.

A visitation for Tony will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220. A Mass of Christian Burial take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
