Anita De’Lois Williams, 85 years old of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on October 18, 2022, in Indianapolis, IN.
Anita was born in Indianapolis to Oliver K. Williams Sr., and Clotiel Stubblefield Williams on March 17, 1937. She attended Crispus Attucks High School and graduate in 1955 with high honors.
Anita married Alfred E. Polin on March 17, 1965, enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was member of Hillside Christian Church for 57 years, Pastor Frederick Talley.
Anita worked at US Naval Avionics and Marion County welfare department for 32 years, she retired in 1997. Anita fulfilled several positions within the department to conclude Accounting, Food stamps and Payroll.
Anita was soft spoken, quiet, loving, caring, devoted, faithful Christian and a pillar to the community. She loved cooking Holidays and Sunday's dinners; her homemade dinner rolls were one of her specialties. Anita enjoyed shopping with her daughter Tanya and playing bingo.
Anita is preceded in death by her mother Clotiel Stubblefield Williams, father Oliver K. Williams Sr., sister Beverly Williams Twitty, brother Oliver K. Williams Jr., daughter Tanya Polin Coleman and stepson Robert Polin Sr.
Anita leaves to cherish her memories husband Alfred E. Polin, son Benton (Sherri) Polin, stepdaughters; Alfreda (Michael Sr.) Polin Willis, Andrea (Mark) Polin Shaffer, 2 step grandsons; Langston Coffer, Dwayne (Teressa) Murray, grandchildren; Ki’anna Powell, Lashawn Jones, Nicole Murray, Janae Murray,
Dwayne Murray, Benton Jr., Polin, Bryant Polin, Brent Polin, Myeesha Coffer, Nicole Coffer, Monica Coffer, Dominique Polin, Robert Polin, Nigel Polin, Michael Willis Jr., Nehemiah (Tigris) Murray, 17 great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunties and friends.
