Andrew Andy Vincent Johnson

Andrew “Andy” Vincent Johnson, 53, died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his home. He was born April 17, 1964 in Indianapolis to the late Russell L. and Bobby Jean (Deck) Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin and Chris Johnson. Andy was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and Scecina Memorial High School Class of ‘82. He loved to write poetry and make rosaries to share with others. The thing Andy loved and cared for most was his family, especially his daughters and nieces and nephews. He is survived by his daughters, Halie and Hannah Johnson; siblings, Eric Johnson, Phil Johnson (Patti Wills), Jamie Johnson (Kim Crodian Fox), Cathy Honeycutt, Sean Johnson, Jim Burrows (Karen), and Daniel Johnson; sister-in-law, Juanita Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday, September 28 and after 9 am Friday, September 29 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46219. A rosary service and prayers will begin 10 am Friday at the funeral home. His Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Friday, September 29 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E 10th St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46219, with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Indianapolis.
