Richard "Rick" Dean Forrester

1953-2016

Richard "Rick" D. Forrester, 62, of Raytown, MO passed away March 14th, 2016 at Research Medical Center. Rick was the son of the late Eldon and Thelma (Uptergrove) Forrester. He is survived by his brothers, Lee and Jim, and his sister Diane. He is also survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Glenda (Love) of the home; son Ben and daughters Amanda and Holly; grandchildren Mason and Kalena, and many special nieces, nephews and friends.

Rick worked at the Raytown School District in the Building and Grounds department. He had many hobbies including riding his Harley and being a member of the D-Dudes car club, but his main passion in life was his family, and his hobbies reflected that. He and Glenda have been avid members of the Heart of America Aquarium Society for many years. Rick was also an alumni of Boy Scout Troop 428; he continued to be an active part of Scouts with Mason, where they enjoyed activities like the annual pinewood derby.

Visitation services Wednesday, March 16th, 2016, 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Thursday, March 17th, 2016, 10:30am. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery.
