Leona Blake Davis passed away January 10th, 2018. She was born May 19th, 1929 to Lee H and Clara Telford Blake near Warsaw Missouri.
She spent her early life around the Fristoe Missouri area and attended Mt. View School and graduated from Warsaw High School.
On May 24th, 1946 she was united in marriage to Ralph Davis in Warsaw Missouri. They made their home near Edwards Missouri for awhile and then moved to Kansas City in 1959 where she worked for Sears Roebuck for 14 years.
Mr. Davis preceded her in death in November 1999, they had 53 years together. She moved to Smithville Missouri in 2004 where she spent many happy days with her companion Elvin.
Survivors include a son, Jesse L. Davis, two grandsons Jesse L. Davis II of Independence and Scotty Wane Ross and two great grandsons, Dalis Lee Ray Davis and Scotty Wane Jr.
