Kenneth passed away after a long illness in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and son. He was very much a family man, he loved spending time with the grandchildren. He was an over the road truck driver over 20 years.
Presided in death by his parents Kenneth H. Thurston and Eileen L. Hillman, two brothers Howard Thurston and Donald Thurston, one sister Mildred L. Thurston Page and a grandson Brandon John Michael Thurston.

Celebration of life to be held at his home May 24th from 11am to 5pm. Flowers and cards can be sent there. 1220 N Spring St. Independence, Mo. Donations may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
