Eric was an avid reader, through his childhood and adult life. He spent a lot of time reading all types of books and novels, mostly large horror and fantasy novels. He was also passionate about computer gaming and connecting with people online all around the world. He recently began exploring his passion for creating handcrafted items including rings and knives.
Taking care of and protecting his family was a very high priority to him. He had a work ethic like none other. He was employed with his family's business, Better Places LLC, as Crew Foreman for the Yard/Demo department, and was admired and valued greatly by his team.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, William Critchfield and grandmother, Beverly Savago. He is survived by his mother, Annette and younger sister, Melissa of the home; older brother, Chris and his wife Lehua; younger brother, Brian and his wife Karma; grandfather, Gary Savago; as well as his nephews, Jak, Aiden, Kaleii and Namo; nieces, Alyna and Aurora; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services for Eric are being held on Saturday, November 19th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Newcomers Chapel, 509 S. Noland Road in Independence Missouri.
