William Allen Hendrickson, a lifelong resident of West Yarmouth, also known as Bill Hendrickson, born September 23, 1944, was the son of the late John and Ruth (Wilcox) Hendrickson. He attended Yarmouth schools and graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon School in 1962. He graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. Bill served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
He is survived by Judith Ann Selfe, his spouse of 40 years, his daughters Kimberly Washington and Catrina Lopes of Hyannis. His grandchildren, Shana Washington, Brian Washington, Jr. and Felix Rodriguez. His great grandchildren, Mason, Felix and Angelysa.
Bill is also survived by his sister, Joan Rogers of Midland, MI; also his nephew Douglas Rogers (wife Dianne Ilkka) of Farmington Hills, MI, and their children Naomi and Kyle; also his niece Lynne Pauer (husband James) of Ann Arbor, MI, and their children Luke and Christopher.
William Hendrickson was a life member of the West Yarmouth Congregational Church and took an active role in the church, especially as longtime Treasurer as well as other roles. Bill worked for many years at the Cape Dairy in Hyannis and made many friends in Provincetown and the lower Cape.
A Funeral Service will be held on July 30, 2019 at 11AM at the West Yarmouth Congregational Church, 383 MA-28 W. Yarmouth, MA 02673. Burial service to follow at the Chandler Gray Cemetery, 161 Old Mill Way W. Yarmouth, MA 02673.
