Steven J. Frazier, 53, of Hyannis, died suddenly on Monday, September 12, 2016. Born and raised in Attleboro, MA, Steve found his passion for Italian cooking at age 17 working as a dishwasher at Casa Mia. Soon after a promotion Steve discovered he had a gift for all things culinary. He continued his career in the hospitality and restaurant business overseeing all aspects of culinary operations and in 2005 opened Soprano's Ristorante in Mashpee with the Richardi family as Executive Chef. Award winning Chef Steve thoroughly enjoyed cooking with his team and serving authentic Italian dishes to patrons of Soprano's.
Steve was also a Boston sports fanatic and loved listening to music.
Steve is predeceased by his loving mother Anita (Perry) Frazier (2014). He is survived by his beloved wife Claudia (Vieira) Frazier, his son Steven Frazier, daughter Jennifer Frazier and step-daughter Priscilla De Oliveira; his brothers Thomas, David, Kevin and Ronnie Frazier; his grandchildren Kali, Jakob, Joshua and Jonas; his nephews Jason, Chad, David Jr., Brandon and Lee and nieces Nicole, Megan and Renee.
Visiting hours will be held at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA on Friday, September 16th from 1-3pm and 5-7pm. Funeral Services will take place 10am Saturday, September 17th at Revival Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod 90 Hinckley Rd., Hyannis, MA. Burial to follow in Oak Neck Cemetery Hyannis, MA.
After the burial please join the family in celebration of Chef Steve's life at Soprano's Ristorante in Mashpee.
