He was born on May 10th, 1945 to Jean-Maurice and Cecile LeRoux. Married to his high school sweetheart and soulmate, Diane V. Girouard, they spent a full life together traveling, dining and watching his grandchildren’s many events.
He is survived by his wife, son Michael LeRoux, daughter Michelle Burns and her husband Gregg, grandchildren Marshal, Leah and Jaclyn and sisters-in-law Shirley LeRoux and Cynthia LeRoux. Richard is predeceased by his parents, sister Claudette LeRoux-Bolduc, and brothers Donald LeRoux and Andre LeRoux.
Richard served his country for the US Navy during the Vietnam Era and continued his expertise with engines working for the Steamship Authority for 43 years before retiring in 2014.
An outdoor ceremony with Military Honors will be held on January 17th at 11:30 am-noon at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
