Debra Ann (Lee) Averett

Debra was born in Hyannis and raised in the Hyannis, Yarmouth area. She worked at Cotton Pickin’ Tees and A&E as a silk-screener and embroiderer. She also worked as a monitor for Barnstable School System special needs.

Debra loved scenery, especially flowers and the beach. She also adored her family.

Debra is survived by her husband Donald Averett of 32 years, her sister Karen McBride, brother Robert Lee, sister Ann Lee, sons William and Taylor, step-son Donald Averett and grandchildren Eli, Hannah, Helena and Nat8hquhs (Nah-tooh-quhs). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation services were private under the direction of Doane, Beal & Ames in Hyannis.
