Blaine Humphrey, 21, of Huntsville, Texas, went to be with his Lord on May 20, 2013. He was born on January 18, 1992, in Chesapeake, Virginia, to Samuel Jennings Humphrey and Robin Stoddart Humphrey. Blaine is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sue Vinson. Left to cherish his memory is his parents; his grandparents, Richard and Barbara Humphrey; grandfathers, Paul Stoddart and George Vinson. Also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Graduating from Magnolia High School in 2010, Blaine went on to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, to pursue a degree in business. Blaine was employed by Gray Mechanical Contractors in Houston, Texas. He was passionate about being with his friends four-wheeling and body-building. He loved the outdoors, traveling, and dancing. He traveled internationally as an ambassador in his early teen years. Blaine cherished his family and friends. Blaine was a compassionate, outgoing person who lived each day to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be conducted at 11 A. M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Stewart Humphrey officiating. Visitation will begin at 10A. M. prior to the service. Serving as pallbearers are Easton Hohensee, Kenny Frelow, Dre Milo. Andy Polk, Malcolm Johnson, Stephen Patton, Blaine Bantau, and Cody Hall. Interment will follow at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery.
